Not sure, I never needed to trim them. I must have measured them before fireforming but have only shot them during the fireforming. Have just reloaded some of the formed cases and didn't have a length problem. I have the trim length somewhere in a load manual, I'll post it if I can find it. |

A buddy made some cases for me, out of .357 Max cases, since I had my barrel modified to also handle a rimmed case. When he measured my chamber, it was definitely less than the 1.4" length of the .221 length. I think he said the max I should go was 1.385"? I have to double check my records, but he said that was length was still to allow some case growth? |
