I am using 20 grains of H322 and a 20gr. VMAX MOLY bullet. It is safe in my rifle but I would not suggest someone try it with out sneeking up on it. It is on the upper end and cannot be increased. The case life is excellent 15 handloads per case so far.

BEWARE of 322 loads when the weather is cool. When you shoot the same load in the summer the pressure will be off the chart, that's why many guy's won't use it in a case like the MK IV where 1,2 tenths can make a BIG difference in CUP pressure. IT is one of the most temp sensitive powders compared to Vitovouri which is one of the least sensitive, cleaner too.

Thanks, I have already been down the road of primers falling out because of temperature changes, and 17's are the worst for this. The H322 is in an Extreem powder, and so far no problems.

I work loads for a .223 in the winter and shoot them at PD's in the summer and I haven't had any problems either.FWIW

The .223 is not a Mach IV, 10-15 degrees can bump velocities up 100-150fps in that case with H322.
