Here is my new rest that I got for Christmas. Wife has done great this year. This is my 17 Hornet. The rest is adjusted a little short to fit the table. It will adjust longer for the shooting bench. It really looks like it will do well with my encore pistols. Just dont have any pistol lenght Sub-caliber barrels to talk about here.

What length barrel and who made the stock? Where did the rest come from? How much? Mike

This is a VVC barrel and Stock set. It is 20" non-taper. I have 3 barrels with it 17hornet, 17 IV and 20PPC. Not much time to shoot lately. The 17IV has not seen the range yet! The rest was bought by my wife. Not sure how much but I think mabey more than it was worth. just good to get something I really like for Christmas. Now the pressure is on me to buy her something! Damn I cant win for loosing. Women know how to play us.

That is a neat rest system unlike any that I have seen before. I wonder who makes it? Looks neat, thanks for sharing. I saw your similar post with the encore in 6PPC on it. Have you shot that PPC yet in that pistol version? Would like to hear how you make out with it.

I will be 30 in a few short months. With my old age come all the problems. Eye sight is not what it used to be. I have some trouble with the pistol scopes. I never seem to be sure I have the target perfect. The 6PPC does real well. I get consistant 1/2 to 3/4 inch groups. I really think that the gun will shoot a little better. I hope the rest will steady my aim. Plan to go to the eye doctor in a couple of weeks. I have so many new barrels I have not had time to devote to shooting them all. That will be my New year resalution.

I have learned to never complain about eye sight since I have been shooting with my father. He is blind in his left eye - almost entirely. His right eye is corrected with a coke bottle bottom - thick glasses. He just started shooting BR with me and last weekend beat me wiht my back-up gun. He actually shot really well and placed 6th. He can not watch the wind flags with his left eye and has to look up with his right eye to watch the flags and then down to shoot. Either way, I am blessed I guess since I only have to wear glasses and have corrected vision to 20/20.
