I went calling today Christmas day, and I shot a nice big gray fox at about 40-50 yards with my rem. 17M4 using 11.6g of bluedot and Hornady 20g Vmax bullets. I was really pleased to get up to the fox and find no pelt damage. I had one tiny pin entrance hole and no exit hole, and he just sloshed around on the inside. I shot him broadside at 50 yards, and he just dropped on the spot like he went to sleep. I took some digital pic's, but I cannot post them because photopoint went out of business plus I do not know if you can post here?? Anyway, the 11.6g bluedot load chrony's at 3,600fps with the 20g Vmax, and I love these bluedot loads more each time I use them. Thanks.

Good shooting there RF!! Those foxes are great hunting aren't they? I have been using the BD loads you schooled me up on. I am loving them . I shot another big cross fox on x-mas eve with 10 gr of bd and a 25 gr starke, I have been using the 17 rem lately. I have been thinking about the v-max's, sounds like they are doing good for you. great results so far , zero pelt damage , wich is exactly what I need. Maby I will post a pic of my fox. Havn't seen any hunting pics here before, have a few nice big bushy AK 17 cal fox pics, what do ya think Jim? see ya

is done like most other sites. You have to have a picture hosting site and then use the link to the picture in the section below. I have an account with hunting-pictures.com and can post it for you if you send it to me.
