I am new to this board and very happy to find shooters that love the 17's. I have a 17ccm and a 17Rem Sako.I had a Cooper MK4 but sold it. (Sad Day)What I would like to find out Is what some of you are useing in the way of loads for the ccm.I am useing brass from Shroeder Bullets, trimmed to 1.160. 7.9 Grns AA1680 with 20grn Hornady v-max.I read in an earlier post that the first ccm's made had chambers that would not accept the newer brass. Can you tell by the model no# if the rifle is one of the first ones made? Thanks, and you have a great board.

Dan if you want to drop me an e mail I'll help you out if I can. The Schroeder brass will fit, in fact it has to be fireformed before you can use it for full loads. Good luck. Bill Cook
