Has anyone used their .224 caliber bullets before? They list them as 60 gr with a BC of 0.355, which is a lot higher than most 60-gr SP's. For example, my Hornady manual lists their 60-gr SP's at 0.264, and their 68-gr HPBT at 0.330. Also, Sierra lists their 77-gr MatchKing at 0.362. I could see a lot of use in a 60-gr bullet with the BC of a 77-gr one. Price isn't too bad either at $15.49/100. Do you think they would stabilize in a 1-12 twist barrel at 3000 fps? Any info? Thanks

Maybe I'm the only one, but has anyone else ever had a rifle like this? It shoots like a dream...no problems there. But, EVERYTIME that I take it hunting, weird things happen.

Something goes wrong with the stalk, other hunters blunder into the area (never mind that it took me 30 minutes to walk in because the snow was so deep and no one had been down the abandoned road into the area in two weeks), 2 deer get up from their daybed in a slough area I'm skirting and run right toward the fox (who promptly goes down the den), a small plane flies over me about 400 yds. overhead, scaring the fox I'm stalking, etc. etc.

I've had a lot of weird things happen when predator hunting over the years, but never has a string of bad luck followed one individual rifle like this!

Anybody else ever had a gun with 'Bad JuJu'? -Al.
