.........or something like that. OK, since I am settled down for the long wait for the 17 Ackley Bee barrel from Bullberry, was thinking about something even a bit stranger than that round. Can someone steer me towards a 14 cal-based round? Is there a 14 AI Bee? Still want to keep in the 20" barrel length, and feel that the rimmed cases are better for the T/C rounds. Would something like this have enough zip at 200 yards for a big 'hog?
Thanks.Rich in VA

Doesn't look as if I can get the velocity I need at 200 yards with the 14. I guess I will stick with the ol' run of the mill, everyday, 17 Ackely Bee......... Getting hard to wait on the Bullberry barrel, and it's only been a week...... My bud just shippped his new 222 barrel to my house....what a shame.......guess I will be forced to do the break in regimen on it, plus make sure that it will kill a crow. Don't want him to have to shoot a bad barrel, gotta check it out for him.... hey, what are friends for? The 21" barrel sounds like just the thing for some Blue Dot loads........ I will make this sacrifice for my friend, he'd do the same to, I mean, for, me......... Rich in VA

rich, in your situation i always tell my friends i lost a fan belt on my truck and used his barrel to stretch it tight.then when we go to the range i catch him not looking and twist his scope knobs ever other shot.
