Bill. Does your Valkyrie hold any more powder than your 20-223ai? I was thinking of necking down a Valkyrie to 20 caliber. I’m not sure I would gain any capacity with the Valkyrie. Thanks Larry

Knifeman. I would say you would be in the area of 3600-3700 fps, maybe more. My shooting partner and I both have the 20-223ai ( 20 Practical ai/ 40 degree shoulder) and we are in the 3900-4000 FPS range with the 32 grain bullets and push it with the 39 grain.
I think you will like the 20 Practical ai very much. When you do get it going, let me know the FPS you are at, though a chrony. Bill K

Bill. I'm thinking of building a 20 practical AI. I believe I read you have one? I'm planning on using 45gr bullets. What speed do you think I'll get? Thanks
