I like the sound of that, as I don't think anyone local has a 20 TAC reamer. I still have a lot of time on my hands due to Pac-Nor being so backed up, so I was going to take a cerrosafe casting of Redding's die, get my hands on the actual reamer diemensions Redding uses to make the die and then finally I want to find someone that will loan me a few pieces of multiple-fired Dakota 20 tac brass that I can size and measure. By all accounts, I understand it's best to set the chamber reamer .003 larger at datum base and .002 larger at shoulder (when compared to die reamer) and .002 larger at base and .001 larger at shoulder when compared to sized brass. I've never honed a die, but I was thinking it a good idea to add .0005 to those "accepted" margins just to be safe, and then I could hone my die a tad as I see fit. I will be in touch.

How much to chamber a barrel and how much to recrown the existing barrel I send you?

    Thanks! Ryan Gelardi
