ATTN: Fixing Site Email features
 

Hello -

I apologize for everyone having to endure the email issues, especially for registration and notifications, and I know this has gone on for way too long. There were some changes done (for improved security, etc.) by the hosting company that negatively impacted our site's software and configuration and I never spent enough time to try and fix it. I've been working on this again recently, and I think I have it fixed. Please let me know of any feedback (good or bad)... and I will continue working on it as I can.

This is my favourite shooting site. It will be really nice to go back to getting the email notifications again. It was particularly handy for new PMs when you aren't able to check in regularly. Thanks and really appreciate the great site.

I had a reply to one of my posts this morning and no email. Just letting you know.

Yes, it worked for a short time but has gone back to not working again. Now it seems to be fixed again because I got an email about this post you made on this thread. I just make sue I check here every couple of days. I do think it has really cut down on the amount of posting traffic though. The site is REALLY quiet since it started having all the site issues.

I got the email for that reply. Mabye it’s back on track.

I'm having a problem sending private messages, or replying to received private messages. I use the form, hit send, looks like they're going through, but they do not appear in my Sent Messages folder, and people aren't responding.

Help!
