David , the reference I have is about 3 or 4 years old , but try Jim Lutes 316-799-2509 . He had a ton of Sako parts.

If all else fails, Timney makes a pretty good replacement.

What parts do you need inparticular?
My trigger has been worked atleast twice.
With the work the internals sear alignment doesn't allow the safety to work.
To i have a safety tumbler, switch, retaining clip, screws, spring & bearing, all unable to work with my trigger but should work fine on a stock trigger.

That's who I used a couple years back. He's definitely getting up there in years, but he was the go-to Sako parts guy for awhile.

I bought this gun about six years ago and it was set up for bench rest 222 and then rechambered to 223....the barrel weight was about 20 tons and was totally shot out so I rebarreled it with a hart 1:10 stainless bbl in 204 ruger.....I just finished some work on the stock ,the guy I bought it from had it in a Fajen walking varminter.....the gun has no safety at all so I need all the parts that make up the safety....I went to the Sako site and I cannot post there until the moderators get back to me and give permission you can read the post but you have to join to be able to post on that site....so I joined just waiting for an OK to post .....I also need a schematic to hopefully install a safety if I can get all the parts.......

There's a............

.......complete trigger assembly on Gunbroker right now. It appears to be an early version, without the over-travel adjustment screw.

BTW....just replacing the missing safety parts may, or may not, allow the safety to operate correctly. The factory trigger assembly's internal parts are factory fitted.

Hope this helps.

Kevin

I was thinking if a timney replacement .....it says for A series don't know how to tell what series I have...L461 serial 107237 anyone know how to tell what is an A series

TinMan 04-10-2012 10:44 PM

An A-1 should be virtually the same as the L-461, except for the bolt shroud.
