Rl17 -20/250

Anyone using RL17 in the 20/250
Or even the 22/250 would do, to get a comparison.

Yep I used it in mine behind 55 Berbers. With a 23" barrel I was right at 3600 fps. Very consistent muzzle velocity and very stable in warm and cold temps.

I believe I was running 36.5 grains of it. I use data for 70 grain bullets in the 22-250 to extrapolate data to the 20 with 55s. Start low and work up.

Thanks xswanted,
Just the info I was looking for.
I'm starting low so will see how it performs.
Just wanted to make sure I wasn't too far off the mark with my starting load.

An update for those interested
Weather was fine 22deg slight wind over my shoulder.
Started low at 35.0gr with the 55bergers. 3 shot group was half inch at 3450fps.
36.0grns showed around 3600fps with slightly larger group. Es was 18.
37.0gr would be as far as I would like to go. Slightly sticky bolt lift but primers looked ok. Velocity was around 3720 fps but grouped just under an inch.

As a comparison, I had a few rounds left over from an earlier outing.
Adi 2208 35.2g velocity around 3724 3 shot group around 3/4". Also had a few 45gr hornady left over which I had loaded up with adi 2208 35.5gr. These proved to be the best for the day with all shots touching.

Thanks for the info xswanted, hope this might help someone else out one day.
All in all a very productive day.
