There is a good place to start for those complaining about some bullet makers not making the bullets they like. They could get this press, obtain dies and start making them, for themselves. Bill K :)

Look before ya leap. I am still reading, dies may not be available for these.

Dies may not be available from Gorbin, but many do or did have them and have given up swaging their own bullets, so they may put them up for sale. It is just something to check out and think about. They may also have the swaging tools to make lead wire/cores and the cutter's Bill K :)

A fellow that goes by BTsniper has been making some dies for quite a while. He has come up some interesting stuff.

I just picked up several books by Corbin. That’s what I need, another hobby to support a hobby. That’s pretty much how I got into casting.

The way so many states are doing with gun confiscation/control more may just be having to go back to some old ways and making your own bullets, etc. to survive. :( Bill K :)

You might want to check delivery dates for anything you want from Corbin. Last time I talked to him delivery dates were loooonng into the future and he had a rather nasty attitude. Of course they could speed it up somewhat if you would agree to pay an unbelievable upcharge to move your order up in line ahead of others who had already been waiting a long time. Left a rather bad taste in my mouth so I ordered from his brother.

Dave Corbin will still make dies for those presses, they're called "M" dies. Andre (the seller at 24hr campfire) is a good guy who moves a lot of reloading stuff.

The dies Dr Blackmon makes should also fit those presses, just tell him what press the dies are for so he can adjust the punches accordingly.

Dies for Corbin presses

^^^^^ this good info. I run a set of Dr Blackmons dies in my D Corbin S press. No dramas as long as you tell him what press you are using. The beauty about swaging is making what you want. Do not be fooled though, you do not save a truck load of dollars, you make what you want, shoot a shiiit tin amount of ammunition and generally get a lot more tooling.
Also, I thing Richard Corbin has retired. Dave is going strong.

Bill
