Savage Short Action and Stock
Savage short action with factory BR magazine and BR bolt face. 3 position safety, factory target accutrigger (red), recoil lug and barrel nut. Nice wood stock with no dents or scratches. I had this in 20BR and sold the barrel to do another build but built a 20 Swift on a type 99 action. Center feed action and scope bases mounted. $300.00 shipped to your FFL from private individual.

I tried to send a pm but your box was full
So does this have a detachable box magazine for a bench rest round to use as a repeater. What model was the stock from. Is it for a heavy or sporter barrel? And do you know what the trigger pull weight is? Let me know as I am interested. |
I will delete some messages and see if it will work again. I believe the model number was on the original barrel which was a sporter 243. The magazine is a blind type with no hole in the bottom of the stock. The magazines are identical with the detachable one simply having a piece of bottom metal attached to it and the fixed one having a little bracket that attaches to hold it in place, the magazine that is in it was a detachable one when I got it. I am looking for my trigger pull gauge, I think Savage specs out the target accutrigger some place, but I would say this is set to about 1.5 pounds or a little less. It will go much lower.

Specs say 6 oz to 2.5 pounds. They don't sell them separately from the gun. I got mine in a trade. The bolt also has the extended baffle that shortens the bolt throw like a .223 has. Larry
