Parker Bows is closed

Effective 12/17/18 Parker Bows is out of business. Anything bought after that date has no warranty and warranty repairs will cease at the end of 2018.
I see this as another indication of the waning of the hunting tradition.

Yep, heard it yesterday. We are stuck with a lot of product we can't stand behind...and they were always so good to deal with. Oh well. Someone else will hopefully buy them or sweep the brand under their wing under a different name.

That's what I'm hoping although Horton products went orphan when they went TU.

It's too bad, they were a good company but just could not compete with the big name companies. Sorry to see them go.

I see some of the retailers that have some still in stock, are making some super deals on the bows and crossbows they had. Bill K :)

It also sucks that those employees lost their job before Christmas.

Unfortunately, crossbows in general are a pain in the @ss for servicing. They wear strings constantly and are not designed to be used heavily. Sight them in and don't practice with them. They have a "limited shelf life" and I don't care what brand they are. We have way more issues with crossbows than vertical bows. We have a bunch in inventory...and no more parts to service them, so the "deals" you are getting are not that great if we can't stand behind them.

I agree. I've sent back two Parkers, a Buckbuster and a Concorde for repairs. To their credit, the turnaround time was measured in a days. I've come to the conclusion that crossbows aren't bolt action rifles and consider them a consumable, Three years and it's time for a new one. YMMV.
