De Lisle Carbine Build

Hi everyone,
This is my first post on saubier and I would just like to say hi before asking for help/advice/comments on this project.

Okay down to business.
I recently picked up a SMLE No. 4 Mk. I in rough condition. The action is sound as well as is the bolt. The stocks are trashed and the barrel probably decent but is irrelevant to this project.
I plan on converting this into a somewhat close replica of the De Lisle carbine (yes I'm waiting on tax stamps ATM so this is happening). Yes I realize the originals were built on No 1 Mk III's but I would like to get the look and proportions correct at least with the suppressor body and handguard.

So on to the help portion:
Does anyone have access to blueprints or a de Lisle to get dimensions off of?
Specifically, the suppressor dimensions is what I'm after and how it is attached. I have a few ideas on how to do this but they won't be fun.

Thanks in advance for any help

welcome aboard and sounds like you have a fun project ahead of you. i've always liked the delisle and have wanted to build something similar for some time now.

these guys have some of the nicer re-pro's and alot of good info through out the site. http://www.specialinterestarms.com/index.php?page=delisle

are you after the concept or replica? reason I ask is you could likely make a simpler more effective suppressor these days. doing the offset bore suppressor is going to complicate things greatly and with the laws ever changing having the ability to replace "wipes" may become challenging in the future.

Thanks for the quick response, guys!

I may end up talking to whomever runs special interest arms, but buying their kit would be a last resort, as I would like to do as much of the work as feasible myself.

Hence wanting measurements
