V133 vs. Other powders in 17fb

I got some v133 and was wondering if it preformed well in 17 fireball. what bullet weights and barrel lengths are best with this powder and how it stacked up against other powders.

I use it with all bullet weights. It seems to be cleaner than the others.

What kind of velocities do you get?

This is with a half dozen different brands of bullets, some customs like Nagels, and Kindlers.

20 grain: high 3900s to low 4000s
25 grain: 3700s to 3800s
30 grain: Mostly in the mid 3500s for best accuracy.

N133 and N530 are both excellent.

17FB powder

Used H335 in my 17MIV shooting 25 gr pills. Loaded for 3,750 fps. Easy powder measure dispensing.

I ran my MK IV’s fairly hot , exclusively with 25 grainers, mostly Rem HP powerloct.
4198 sc could be pushed to 4100 in cooler temps, H335 god for just shy of 4000fps, may be best hot weather powder, shot a lot of Norma 200 also good for 4000 fps.
H322 was found to be way too temp sensitive, even the new stuff.
IMHO this thing comes alive between 3900-4000.

Best powders in mine were A-2015, h-322, and h4198. 3850 fps was the best i could get with n133. I tested a dozen or so powders

In my 20VT, n120 out shot everything else.
