Need price help on winchester 53 25-20
 

I have a Winchester 53 in 25-20. Really nice condition for its age. Has a Lyman tang sight. Bore is excellent. Rifling is very sharp. Nickel steel barrel. It is not a takedown model. Any idea on a selling price for this. Was going to offer it to my buddy first as he has asked me about it for years. Then if not I'll post it on here. Thanks in advance.

Wow, looks like that's a fairly valuable piece you have there. Mine is an old (1917 I believe) Savage Sporter in 25-20. I consider it to be in great condition, but I'm no expert on these things. I suspect a Savage would bring less than the Winchester.
