Longshot, haven't shot it in a quite a while, but I do have a BPCR M1885 in 45/70. I found 405gr cast lead with AA5744 is fun to play with.

Congratulations. Should be very nice to shoot, as long as you don't try to make it into a 458WM. I've never shot a M86, but have shot a M71, which is similar action, but in 348Win. Very pleasant...
