I have 2, one in a Rem 223 action pac-nor barrel and a CZ 527 204 factory barrel that was set back to a 20VT both shoot extremely well.

I would be careful of mixing different headstamp brass if your running near max. loads different internal case volume can increase pressure.

As far as 4100 out of a straight BR with 40's maybe a stretch. I can get 4050 with a 20 Nitro ( 20BRAI) and Badger Bob's 46.5's. 1-11 3G would be all you need for 40's if you never plan on going...

Take the recapping pin out of your Redding die and run the cases through the die again, without powder of course and send your RCBS die back or get a .261 expander button for the RCBS.

My problem with the R-P brass was they were .010 short, but being to long can be a problem. You should feel some resistance on brass that is to long.

My suggestion is get ahold of Badger Bob and get his 46.5 if you wanna shoot a heavier bullet, I doudt with the velocity loss and stability with the 11tw you will probably gain anything at all trying...

The 20 Nosler appears to have a little more case capacity the datum line is a little longer and case length is too. I'm betting Nosler designed the 20 longer so it wouldn't chamber in a 22 Nosler
