Glad I got it.The point here is you never are sorry about the guns you buy, only the ones you don’t or the ones you...

20-222

The 222 to me inspires visions of all that is pure and good in the shooting world.
It was what my first centerfire woodchuck rifle was chambered in and it has taken many varmints over time.To look...

Sometimes I think the best thing we can do is teach a kid to shoot and share our values.I now itís seems tougher these days, but things will turn around.Fathers day is a great day to recharge and...

Was thinking....

A Browning micro in 17HH would be so sweet to be able to just buy and shoot.
Imagine a Ruger number 1 in 17HH,can you even get the Browning single shot in 17HH anymore? Sometimes I wonder about the...

Would I advise a new shooter to get a 17WSM?
That is a tough question, a 17HMR can do what you need out to the...

I like mine....

The nice thing about the 19-223 is the barrel is a PAC-Nor , the cases are easy to make and it will easily take pdís at 500 yards. The poly tipped bullets that Sierra makes for James should work fine...

Sounds like the beginning of a great rifle...

I really think the 11 is perfect for anything up to the 40 grain class of bullet.
Back in the day when all you could get was a 12, I built a 20 BR and had a run on some 500+ yard pdís out on the...

Well...

I can say that my XP 17PPC with 18Ē barrel has 121 lbs of energy left at 1000 yards. Not much left for varmints but works on paper:D
The funny thing to me is with small calibers and shorter barrels...

Itís good stuff...

Funny how similar powders work well in the 17 Rem and 22-250.Like WW760 and H414 work well in both,AA2700 is a tad slower but should be very nice in your 22-250.

Excellent!

Always loved 760/H-414 Al,seems to be doing well.AA2700 is also a good 17 Rem powder as you are aware and should do well in your neat rifle.Al have you tried the new Rel 15.5 in anything yet?

Really like the Calhoon bullets

Sounds like a neat rifle,always wanted a 22-250 in a 1V.
Bought a older 77V a while back and was pleased that it was a 12 twist I used to shoot 60 Berger’s in it,since the advent of the 53 V-Max I...

Al, I left that one alone. Its a Leupold single piece base with 3 screws total and
Leupold 1” rings.I use a rifle scope as it is very mild shooting the 30s from the ppc case.
Al I like the fact...
