What cci primers are you using? I tried some 400s in my cz with varget and 30 gr kindlers and they pierced with a mid range load. Went to rem 7.5 and havent had any other issues.

I make my17 rem brass from 204 brass. Its a simple task and i dont use form dies, just run them threw the 17 rem dies and trim to length. 223 brass will come up a little short but it can work.

the 4198 is a bit longer cut than the 8208 for sure, just a few extra taps on the lymn 55 and on the case neck. i shoot the 20s 25s and 30s threw my fireball with the 25s being the least accurate...
