FS: Lilja .17 #4 (kind'a) 9-twist--$300
I've got a Lilja .17 9-twist that I don't seem to need. It's a #4 contour with the shank diameter reduced to 1.050"--perfect for most Sako receivers (except the one I intended it for) and CZs.

Thanks, Roy.
It is kind'a curious how they just let the 46-series action evolve over time. I've never seen a 46 that was identical to a 461 (dropped the magazine and moved the safety off the bolt...

Roy,
What models are those? I'm still trying to figure out all the little switches during the Sako AI period. The only varmint stocks I've seen on the AI repeaters had either a straight comb or...

There wasn't anything concrete and quotable in that interview, George. He didn't say who he'd appoint, he was just describing the how he'd solicit a potential nominee's judicial philosophy. The only...

There's a fairly strong belief that the smaller flash holes result in more consistent ignition and allow you to run higher pressures with less risk of a failure around the primer. I've seen a lot of...

An easy fix
Just a little surprise I thought I'd pass along:
I picked up a Sako A-I varminter in 222 about a year ago. Took it out to the range with a set of loads with IMR 4198 and 40 V-Maxes. Seriously...

Ladobe, Yeah, to be honest, I'm probably just going through the motions considering anything other than the 17 AH.
A17Shooter, Thanks. It's a centerfire. Bought it from drewh on the board here.

Okay, first Martini. What to do? What to do?
I just got my first Martini today. I've thought about it a few times, but the two at the top of my list are the 17 AH and the 20 Killer Bee. I'm leaning the most towards the 17 AH 'cause you can't...

I put almost that much RL-22 behind a 105 in my 6-284, so I'm all for: wrong powder, deteriorated powder, or bore obstruction (anything from serious carbon wring to insect nest). I think you would...

Hopefully they're a bit better about communicating than they were in the past. I was up in the Flathead in May. I called several times and left messages, but never got a response. Even drove by their...

Sako trigger details needed
I just picked up an old 461 varmint style (old enough to have the nicer bottom metal with the little lever instead of the plunger) in .222 for a good price. When I took it apart to give it a good...

Tim,
It's especially bad for someone like me. If you give me one of those slow-screw eyepieces, I'll fiddle with the damn thing all day long. Then on the other end, even with the easy parallax...

No, you can't. You're only (supposed to be anyway) changing the focus on the reticle. If the reticle and the image are not in focus at the same time, then you have parallax. Any changes to the point...
