Neck down a 222 case for sufficient neck tension. I leave just a bit of a larger diameter "donut" on the neck so the case head is tight on the bolt face. Shoot varmints or targets.

The CCI 400 has a 0.020" cup, the 450 has a 0.025" cup. Takes a much stronger FP spring. Somebody over on AccurateShooter Forum was having some failures with the 450's.

I have never had a 450...

I don't load for the 12-204, but I load for 20 Practical. I just use the Redding Competition seating die for a 223 and the bullet runout is just as good with the 20 Practical.

17-222 Rem 25.20 grains
17 Remington 26.50 grains
I typically find my fired case capacities always run higher than QL lists
