Bullet jacket length?

Is there a way to determine the required jacket length of bullet before having to buy them in hopes?

Or us there a reference list available?

I know each style will dictate the overall length...

I have noticed that I am now getting less rejects and tighter tolerances.

Personally I have never washed any cores but none of my rifles are "benchrest" and the best that I have ever been able to pull is .300, 1/2MOA is more of the standard.

I will wash the next batch...
