17 FB vs 20 VT

While I like both cartridges a whole lot my personal opinion is that the 20 VarTarg is much more flexible than the 17 FB. At least in my area of the country the VarTarg is more usable. Both are fine...

WTB CZ 527 bolt

Does anyone have a CZ 527 bolt for a 222 / 223 / 221 FB bolt to sell? Could trade a PPC / 7.62 / Grendel bolt or purchase outright.

Let me know.

WTB 20/223 reamer

Looking for a 20 Practical or 20/223 finish reamer. Would prefer a no-turn neck with zero or short freebore. Could swap a PTG 20 VarTarg reamer for one.

Anyone have one to part with?

That tool gets my vote too. Very useful for setting dies up to bump the shoulder of cases back two thousandths consistently after firing.

Unless I am missing...

Lil Gun

Lil Gun is excellent in the large 45 caliber & up handguns. My son and I use it almost exclusively in 45 Colt, 454 Casull, 480 Ruger and 475 Linebaugh for deer hunting. Good stuff for that purpose!

204 Ruger brass

I have a bag of 250 (?) new Nosler brass. I thought it was an unopened bag but it turns out it wasn’t - I’m guessing I used a piece or two for some experiment. Now I will have to count them.

Moly removal

Moly coating can be removed by soaking in a fairly strong Dawn dish soap and water solution. The moly may leave a little discoloration but I am pretty sure accuracy will not be affected. ;)
