Whidden makes one. I got mine a couple of years ago. I also have the 17 cal meplat trimmer.

.021 thick wall, pretty heavy duty. .566 will make light bullets. Looks like you would need .170 wire for the cores.

Are your cores cast or from wire? If wire, where did the wire come from. Could be voids in the wire.

From what I have read, this round is a legitimate 1000yd round. There is a write up on this round in guns and ammo a couple of years ago. I will try and find the article.

I use a power press to make my jackets. A lot less work than by hand.
