I have a steel Trek I use on my 17s,ARs(223 n 204)and on a custom bolt 204.Does a good job but it's heavy compared to Titaniums.

Had 7 or 8 Shilen barrels including a 17 and never a problem.In fact the opposite,all were great.
Had a Lilja on a 17-204 n 20-250 and they were great as well.Wouldn't hesitate with either.
