Yes, annealing is your last step prior to fire forming.

It also helps to have an intermediate 20 caliber die to take the case down in two steps to 17 caliber.

Well for me; at the very least, after every loading session.

I will also clean them if I notice any scratch appearing on any case upon withdraw from a die.

My cleaner of choice is Birchwood...

Well I believe that when you can hit a target 3/4's the diameter of a soda can at 200 to 250 plus yards with a projectile that you "rolled" yourself, who would complain! :)

Will a bonded 22LR jacketed bullet withstand high acceleration any better than a non-bonded core 22LR jacketed bullet?

(I am considering this approach for making for 17 Hornet & 17FB).
