Thanks a lot, guys. It looks as if the 69-gr. and 70-gr. bullets will stabilize well in my 1:10 twist--and probably shoot very well. I'll try the Berger 70-gr. VLD and the 69-gr. Sierra. Of course,...

.222 Rem. in 10-twist Barrel

I have a new triple deuce that came with a 10-twist Douglas barrel. This surprised me, as I was expecting either a 12-twist or 14-twist (the classic twist). This fast twist suggests heavier...

Neither the 20 Nosler nor 22 Nosler were formed from the 404 Jeffery case. Both have a base diameter of ~.42" (so far less than the .545" of the Jeffery) and the rebated rim diameter of .378" to fit...

Don't see how it could be based on the 404 Jeffery case--with the Jeffery's .545" base and rim diameter. Far too large a case for a 20-caliber round. Also, can't be based on the 30AR with its .500"...

Bill, wasn't it the other way around--i.e., the fellows that started Cooper were originally on Kimber's staff? In any case, you might be right about using Wilson barrels.

Those are beautiful rifles--and great shooters as well. I have a two Kimber 82s, but no centerfires. Do you know from whom Kimber sources their barrels?

I've purchased some Berger bullets over the years, but haven't known about their corporate structure. Who are PRK? If I'm not mistaken (and I may be), don't NAMMO (Vihtavuori, Lapua) now own Berger...

A Brace of Kimbers - Part 1

Screaminweasil's posting of his wonderful Kimber Classic in .223 Rem. got me to thinking about a couple of Kimbers I've had for quite a while; two KoO rimfires. Top rifle is an 82B in .22LR; bottom...

I'd like to swap out the Sako trigger on one of my Sako A1 rifles. Does anyone have a Canjar single-set trigger they'd like to sell?

WTB 6 PPC chamber reamer

I'm looking for a 6PPC finishing chamber reamer for a project I'd like to get started. I'd be particularly interested in a reamer with a relatively short freebore.

Just to add to your thoughts: I'm not sure that the Bix'n Andy is worth the extra dollars (like about $250-$300 more than a Jewell). Evidently, the serious benchrest guys think so. The B&A can be...
