I wouldn't bother improving a 20-250. You're gains won't be worth the hassle.

My 20-250 shooting 55 Bergers lasted about 750 rounds before the bullets would litterally were hitting the target...

Berger now recommends using a 1/7 twist to shoot the 55. I used a 9 with a 20-250 and a 20BR and it worked but it certainly wasn't stabilizing in the cold.

8 twist 204 shoots well with 55s but...
