Gary,

What kind of jackets are you using? I find that Berger J4s are bright enough that they don't need polishing. I have some Sierra jackets that I got during a J4 shortage, and they are...

Gary in Illinois - good luck with your bullet making

I noticed no mention of what lubes to use. Every bullet maker has a favorite, I think. Core squirting is easy; I use RCBS Case Lube II; just about 9 grains of lube for 1000 core pieces (for 30...

Agree with Wayne

All the BR bulletmakers try to get perfect uniformity, and it's a never-ending task. Every lot of jackets (I only use Berger J4s) is different, and unfortunately, sometimes there are differences...

Somebody help GLW

GLW,
All I know about cast bullets is what I learned making .58 cals in a Lee mold for a muzzle-loader I used to have (30 years ago). I used pure lead, and I bought a sizing die that I could push...

Welcome, Randy!

Randy,
You're the first one to post on our new bulletmaker forum. I'm hoping to get all the BR bulletmakers, plus some of the other makers, sharing our experiences and making everyone's targets get...
