I had a professional gunsmith install a brake on a Rem SPS 30-06 I shot a lot, first time out shot a 12" group they fixed it, Sure, shot a 8" group went to a SMITH proper back to 1.25 at one hundred, He said when they opened up the brake they did so off center making an elliptical hole ???? Why? they only had to stock one size brake then open it up to accommodate any bore necessary, Any oddity will cause a change in POI
