I’ve shot Thousands of 32gr DHP’s in .19 Badger. Great splat, I like them better than the tipped .19 32gr. , others prefer the tipped.

I’ve also shot thousands of 40gr. V Max’s from a CZ .221 FB with a 12 twist.

I would consider the splat about the same between the two. Like others have said, a lot depends on where you hit them.

Bigger critters and deer, I use Calhoon (non tipped) bullets. They have performed very well for me. tipped varmint bullets in this application performed poorly.
