Default Mohawk 600 x Rem 6mm

In my search, I found this REM600 Mohawk in a Rem6mm calibre
The rifle has its original iron sights (which I removed) ...orig. wood stock has it typical aged look with blemishes in the factory finish (never been redone or modified). I cleaned the barrel to find the rifling being like new.
The plastic bottom metal has buckled (deformed) as most are in these models but fits and works fine.
I can't bring myself to re-barreling this rifle and will shoot it for a while as is.

Will be trying to lighten the factory trigger which is currently about 4 lbs.
I've ordered a picitanney rail from NEAR Mfg. which will clear the recoil lug that protrudes above the barrel/action.
I found the 90 gr. Sierra GameChager at the local store and from my research it might be an interesting bullet to try out.
