I don't have Nosler in 17 FB, but in all the other cartridges I use it in it is excellent brass. Norma makes most of Nosler's brass, just like they make all the Weatherby brass. Whether you buy faculty loaded or off the shelf brass and over many years, the cases still all weigh the same. Very even and consistent. I would rank it with Lapua. Some call it on the soft side, I have used it in some pretty hot loads, never had a problem with their brass as long as I wasn't running over pressure.
