That's exactly the type of first hand information I was hoping to learn from.
Our prairie dog spots are about a 14 hour drive from home, so it's challenging logistically to check these things out firsthand.

The land owner where we hunt elk likes us to also help keep the prairie dog populations under control. We try to help out. Lots of times on the way home, we are asking ourselves if we just had an elk hunt with prairie dogs on the side, or maybe it was a prairie dog shoot, with an elk hunt on the side... but a LOT of fun and good times!
