moorepower: I am on my 3rd loading and am finding a few cases that have hit the 1.350" case length. I am trimming them back to 1.340".
This would be the first trim on my Hornady brass that began as NEW. What I watch is how long my "new" brass goes between the first trim and the second trim.
I really haven't owned the caliber/rifle/brass long enough to judge brass life.
What do you consider "hotter loads"? I am shooting the 20 gr Nosler tipped at 3685 fps and the Berger 25's at 3264 fps. Factory Hornady 25gr HP chronographs at 3449 fps AVG VEL in my CZ.
