Yessir, Lilja #3. Coyotespotter makes an excellent point, the folks at Lilja are mighty helpful.
Here is one of my 17 Rem's that is very similar to what you're going to do. I chose the remsport contour for the 22" Lilja but would have gone #2 or #3 to lighten it up a little more. A point worth noting, I had to remove quite a bit of material from the stock with this contour.
