I have four 22 Hornets, Ruger No.3, Kimber of Oregon M82, Cooper M38 and a CZ 527. All of them will shoot sub 0.5 MOA with their preferred loads. I like the Kimber, but it is a RF based action, because of its age, parts for it are almost unobtainable, in my opinion. I would pick the Cooper M38 or a CZ 527 if you can find one. I bought the CZ used to build a 17AH before the 17HH waas introduce, but shot it before converting. Using factory 22 Hornet Winchester silver box 46gr SP, it shot 0.4" for five shots at 100 yds. It stayed a 22 Hornet. With preferred handloads, both will shoot a bit better with 40gr varmint bullets like the VMAX or NBT.
