I have 3 Lilja barreled rifles. All shoot fantastic, one is a 26" 1/9 chambered in 17 rem with a short freebore. I had a bunch of new brass on hand, plus another 17 rem AR so I stayed with it. If starting with no brass the cheapest would be 17/223. All out performance go 17/204 the brass will probably be more expensive. I know there is a 17/223 die set, not sure about the 17/204. Lightning strikes with the hot 17's on coyote and smaller critters.
