Kevin is a very good gunsmith and does a lot of small bore builds I am sure you will be very happy with whatever he builds you.
As for barrels it seems Lilja and PacNor, when it comes to .17 or .20 caliber builds, are the two barrel companies that are generally at the top of most smiths list.
Curious, which .17 cal cartridge is Kevin building for you?
