Like the fiddleback in the stock on that K Hornet, I'll be interested to see how it shoots.
Quite like the Martini action, nice and petite, just right for small cartridges like the Hornet, Bee etc. I think I have a few of those actions sitting in the safe just waiting for when I've got some free time and a few barrel blanks. I've even got a few nice sticks of wood to attach the metal too.............Kiwi |

You might want to try ADI- AR 2205 and AR 2207 powders, these 2 powders show the best results for the 35 -40 gr weight end for the bullets, in the K Hornet. Back in the 60's, the local gun shop had a barrel full of the Martin Cadet rifles for $25- 30 each. I passed on them and have been kicking myself since then, very hard to find in my area. Very nice looking smoke pole. I have a Ruger 77 in K hornet that is my go to rifle, for ADC work controlling sage bunnies in the hay fields, works very inside 200 yds or so. Tia, Don

This is the one my brother stocked up, a .22 Ackley IMP Hornet.
.22 Hornet .22 Hornet necked up to 6mm, then down to form a false shoulder .22 Ackley IMP Hornet after fireforming.
