Corporate policy the last time (ten years ago) I bought a shotgun from Dick's was they do not honor the three day waiting period from a hold. They wait until they hear from the Feds. I waited a week after a hold before taking possession of a Mossberg 20 ga pump shotgun. I kept calling every day and they gave me the same story, no call back yet. I asked about the three day fed policy. Nope, no can do. Seems the right hand didn't know what the left hand was doing. The feds called back the next day but the message never was relayed to the next guy. That was the last time I purchased a gun from them. Aside from that, after Sandy Hook, they stopped selling any black guns and were boycotted afterwards.

No permit or license to buy or own guns here and NO limits either!
Just in a store have to run the NICS check.
Store I buy new from will if I insist, but, don't like to sell/deliver
two within the same week as it draws ATF's attention he claims.
When I buy several at a time, take delivery of one a week to make him
happy.

Supposedly CO has a law now of all sales going thru NICS, even private.
P on 'em, swap guns for cash or whatever and don't even learn the folks name
most times.
