Tip for you Chrony owners, I have had a Beta Gama version for many years with the on bench readout. I never use the shades on it ever so instead of the wires I use drinking straws with a piece of black tap on them 4.5" up. This gives you easy alignment but does no damage to the unit if you manage to clip a straw. If you want to use the shades, replace the wire arms with wood dowels the same size, my buddy uses Bamboo chopsticks that we slimmed down to fit. If you do happen to centre punch the unit, Chrony has a replacement program that is about 40% of the cost of a new unit, my buddy had his back in 2 weeks, so service is good.

+1 on the replacement program. Years ago I had a yellow Chrony F1, and a buddy shot his dead. I gave my F1 to my buddy, and I sent his shot unit back to Shooting Chrony to offset the price to upgrade to a Gamma Master (remote display) complete with printer.

Isn't Shooting Chrony now defunct?

Leopold Scopes, Forester reloading equipment and Victorianox knives.

I video recorded all of my Highpower Rifle matches. Pretty soon I am going to watch them all in reverse order so that I can watch those F Class guys GO HOME and leave us alone so that we can shoot Highpower Rifle.

FYI, Caldwell makes many of the engineered items MidwayUSA and Larry Potterfield sell.

It appears you may be correct. I didn't know they closed but it appears they shut down about June 2020. Wonder if Covid got them too, or just weren't selling enough any more. Too bad, they were are real inexpensive option for guys.
