Hornady 17 cal 25 grain Hollow point quality

I have seen mixed reviews on Hornady item 1710 17 cal 25 grain hollow point bullets. A little bad news seems to go further than a lot of good reports. My concern had been over what seems to be a more recent run in the last three years or so.
Case in point a customer supposedly had experienced numerous failures in the sense that the bullets were coming apart b4 reaching target at 100 yards at 17 hornet velocities.

I bring this up for two reasons one I am hoping to see if others on this board have had such experience.

Second I am hoping to encourage Hornady to get this next run and future runs right. I feel they have had a great bullet here in the past. I feel when done right this will be a great fur pill in the 17 hornet, fireball and 17 Remington.

I hope this next run meets and exceeds quality expectations in a big way.

I have shot some (LOT# 03-075) at 17 REM speeds with no ill issues from a Tikka M595.
