I do look most times at all charged cases.
Matter of fact I noticed with some ball powder loads looked like they were heavy. Dumped them and weighed them, weight was right. Never dawned on me cases were so much different.
It was way more noticeable when a case full of 4198 was used.
Have been fooling with these little cases for just a few years. I heeded all the warnings I was given when I started.
I am now going to weigh all of the 17 Fireball brass also.

I have tried to load for 2- 17HH (CZ 527 and Ruger 77) with no luck with either.
Had the same problems with brass, so I sold the Ruger and sent the the CZ to Calhoon for a 19 badger. Sold all my dies and brass. Built another CZ with a Krieger in 221FB. Both shot 2s.

I haven't had any problem loading the Hornady Hornet, but since I haven't been able to beat the factory ammo's accuracy, I stocked up on the stuff and just quit loading for it. I had Darrik, the manager at Whittakerguns, order me a couple of cases of the 20gr. factory load.
Due to family business, I haven't had time to shoot any of it since it arrived. I haven't even cracked them open.
