Default Ruger question

Anyone have one of those Am. Predator .223 which take AR magazines? Recommend it?

In general, Ruger is the least consistent shooter (hit or miss on performance). All the guys I've met that bought a Ruger Precision have given up and traded it or re-barreled it.

There are a number of similar rifles by other manufacturers. If you are looking for full size rifle then take a serious look at the Tikka rifle.

Another option. Just saw that Mossberg just brought out a new model bolt action in 223/5.56, 16.5in barrel and uses AR mags. Price was slated to be $500-550. Might be one heck of a truck gun.

That is a nice scout / ranch rifle, with utilitarian design. I've handled one a couple of times. I do like the ease of using a Pmag. It is considerably larger than the CZ527 Carbine model.
