Default things I want to try.....

If I want a certain rifle and for some reason I already have a set of dies for it, a good way to acquire a rifle in that chambering would be to sell or give away that die set, right?
More than once I've sold/traded away a set of dies I thought surely that I would "never need again" and POOF!... a rifle in THAT cartridge comes to me from nowhere!!!
(does that happen to anyone else??)

Once I've 'Been there and done that, with a particular cal. I sell the rifle and any accessories including loading gear, but not tele. sights, thinking I won't go there again. I'm always wrong, and after the wheel's turned a circle I start again. How sad is that? Don't answer.
With me it stems from being a kid and having to save to buy something (Dad said no credit)
and then if I wanted something else I usually had to sell something to fund another buy.
It' snot just guns either, motor cycles(should have kept that 1933 Manx Norton)fishing tackle, parachutes and aeroplanes.
I still do it, that's my way.
Ken.

It's in our DNA!
....and it don't just happen with cartridges and rifles, either!
....tools, cars, parts to whatever?, wives, dogs...

Was out at the R&G club after the local ERT (Emergency Response Team) was finished their shooting practice, I picked up some 400 rounds of .308 Federal once fired Match brass.

Damn - no I'm going to have to build or buy a damn .308 rifle- again!

Yes. I have done the same for the 22-250. I keep thinking I don't want it and I keep taking it back. More muzzle blast than I need and it warms up the barrel rather quickly. Also too much recoil to spot my shots. Then I saw this beautiful Mark V and then a 700 stainless. I am worse than an abused spouse going back for more.
