Default Sell die sets?,....DOH-!

Who has sold die sets only to regret it later? Thought you'd never need 'that chambering' again, did you?! Keep scopes and reloading dies, you never know when you might just have another of the same in the future even though you THOUGHT you were through!

Good points, but every now and then selling dies with a gun relieves the temptation to monkey with said caliber all over again -- especially if one also dumps whatever brass was on hand at the time, maybe bullets too.

Oh ya, in the mid 80's I sold a set of 25-20SS dies with a Stevens rifle I had, years later I needed a set, big mistake. Not only where they hard to find they went up in price 3 fold. So now I don't sell dies, my kids might when I die, but I don't, well unless I have seconds that is.

I'm with you Bob, never sell dies or components. Heck, I even have dies for guns I've never owned.

Same here, you never know I hang on to dies, even when I have sold the weapon they were for. Bill K

I inherited 15 die sets when my grandfather died. Its the only thing he didn't sell to fuel his many destructive addictions. Back then components and dies were reasonable. Not much to be profited. I thought about selling when I was a kid but didn't because they were his. Now I find o have a gun for every cartridge of
Dies I inherited. Only one left and I'm working on that. I think I got the gun bug from him. I also believe if you acquire enough brass and dies for a gun you don't own your wife can't say no to the gun that accompanies it. I mean that's just wastefulness........
